wpdarrenheadDarren Teicher - Head Coach: 14 Mizuno

Darren is entering his 3rd season as Head Coach for Dallas Premier 14 Mizuno. In his past two seasons he has qualified for Nationals in the Open Division and this past season did it by finishing 3rd at Northern Lights National Qualifier in the Open Division.

Darren is entering his Third season as head coach at St. Marks School of Dallas. Prior to coming to St. Marks he had coached for three years at the Episcopal School of Dallas as the Freshman coach and Varsity assistant finishing there with an SPC Championship in 2008. Over the last 6 years, Darren has been a coach for Dallas Summit and Dallas Premier having qualified for nationals twice.

Before moving to Dallas, Darren was an assistant coach at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX. While coaching there, Darren also coached club volleyball at Austin Juniors where he qualified his 15’s team to the national invitational.

As a player, Darren spent 2 years at Columbia College. In those two years, the team was the national runner-up in 1999 and the national champion in 2000. He learned much of his coaching technique there playing for Wayne and Susan Kreklow, who are now the Co head coaches at the University of Missouri.

wpwalterheadWalter Ranstrom - Assistant Coach: 14 Mizuno

Walter served 3 years as Head Coach for RCVC 14′s in Huntsville, Alabama and qualified for Nationals 2 of the 3 years using the limited talent pool offered by Huntsville Alabama.

While in Alabama Walter also was in charge of coordinating all indoor and outdoor volleyball for HVBA including all youth through Adult leagues and tournaments for North Alabama region. He also served on the Southern Region USAV board as the player’s representative.

Walter has played indoor USAV for the last 10 years and competed at Nationals every year since 2000 and is still actively playing competitive Sand Doubles, Grass Triples, Indoor 4′s and 6′s in the North Texas Region

Melanie has been coaching club volleyball for ten years and is entering her first year with Dallas Premier. Prior to joining Dallas Premier she has coached with Dallas Summit and Dallas Juniors and MAVS (Overland Park, KS ). Melanie also coached the varsity team at Prince of Peace Catholic School for three years. As a player, Melanie competed collegiately at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri all four years. Melanie is still currently involved in women’s indoor and outdoor leagues.

wperinheadErin Carlisle -

Erin Carlisle played at the University of Tulsa prior to moving back to Dallas where she coached at Greenhill School and Garland High School. She is currently the varsity assistant and JV coach at Frisco Centennial High School. Erin is USA Volleyball CAP II and Volleyball Conditioning Specialist certified and also runs the Nationally known Nike Volleyball Camp here in Dallas. Erin was the assistant on the Bronze medal winning Dallas Premier 16 Mizuno team during the 2007 club season, Dallas Premier 17 Mizuno assistant coach in 2008 and was the assistant coach for the Dallas Premier 15 Molten team last season.
