Athletes may attend camps, clinics and lessons prior to the evaluation window, but discussions about specifics team is prohibited
GJNC ends Thursday, July 6th
Evaluation window: July 8th - July 10th, 2023
Acceptance/Signing Date is July 11th (you do not have to be in town to accept)
Tryouts will begin Saturday, July 8th
Tryouts will be held at the Premier Volleyball Center. [Directions]
Tryouts for remaining spots/teams: July 9 & July 10th (Tryouts will continue until all teams are full)
North Texas Region 2023/24 Tryout Information
Per the Junior Participation / Competition Handbook: The Evaluation Window for the upcoming USA Volleyball season shall start on the first Saturday after the last day of the competition for all age groups at USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships. For all USA Volleyball age groups, the acceptance date shall be no sooner than the third Sunday of July.
During evaluation, verbal/non-binding offers will be made for teams. Players will be told where they stand with the club.
Types of teams we offer:
Elite Black and Crimson: National level, 2-3 out of state travel, Goal is to attend National Championship, aspiration to play in college, utmost priority, mandatory commitment to team
National Red and White: National level, 1-2 out of state travel, Goal is to attend National Championship, aspiration to play in college, utmost priority, mandatory commitment to team
Regional Grey: 5-7 In State tournaments
Local Sky: 5-7 Dallas Area tournaments

Players will be evaluated by club directors as well as coaches in their age group.
Please feel free to reach out to the club director as well as head coaches of your age group.
*clubs/coaches may not discuss a specific team with a player outside their club before July 10th, 2023
2023-2024 Season Age Definitions
18 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1st, 2005 or are high school students in the 12th grade or below during the current academic year and are 19 years of age or younger (born on or after July 1, 2004).
17 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006
16 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
15 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008
14 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
13 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
12 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
11 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
10 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013
9 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2014
